I don't think he's interested because he said he'd call and didn't. When you do this so soon in a relationship, its usually the kiss of death. Its one thing to wait to call someone, so you don't appear needy, but its another to say you will call them and then you don't. Just don't text him anymore and see what happens, but be cautious so you don't get hurt.
